

Bio
Based in NYC, Danna Matute has a deep rooted passion for the natural world. Whether learning from inside a classroom or the great outdoors, she found herself drawn to plants.
After graduating with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Geography from Hunter College she was intrigued with the relationship between people and plants in an urban setting.

She later went on to work at the New York Botanical Gardens Plant Shop. Then moved on to work for Farm.One, a hydroponic farm growing and selling rare herbs and flowers to local restaurants in NYC. Later becoming the farm manager of the hydroponic garden inside The Institute of Culinary Education. Currently she continues to pursue her Certificate of Horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden.
